What’s new at LCD TV from Sharp With Blu-ray Recorder

Sharp has just launched the first LCD television with built-in HDD and Blu-ray disc recorders.
The DX’s series has range in size from 26 to 52 inches and also have the ability to play standard DVDs.
The first two models, LC-26DX1 and LC-32DX1, are available in either Black, White or Red case versions and a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a 7000:1 contrast ratio. The rest of the four models from this family LC-37DX1, LC-42DX1, LC-46DX1, and LC-52DX1 will provide full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, as well as contrast ratios of up to 15,000:1.
The sets are available starting November in Japan, should be on sale in the U.S. before the end of this year and launch in Europe in 2009.
