Seeing as Smart TV evolved in recent years, we wondered when Android will be available on TVs …. Behold we got the answer from Lenovo! The famous manufacturer of laptops Lenovo introduced at CES 2012 the first TV with FULL HD resolution running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich called LeTv or IdeaTv.

The company representatives made a brief presentation of the TV 55 inch Lenovo, whose remote has the function of “voice gestures” and G sensor. Just like swiping through the menus of smartphones that run on Android, Lenovo TV gives you the opportunity to slide through windows applications, an absolute novelty, turned into reality by the multifunctional remote control. In addition, if the remote with G sensor is not sufficient for games on Android, Lenovo offers you in this TV package a joystick. This is an ideal TV for family games, because you can interact with up to 4 persons, each using a remote control.

Below you can see that Lenovo TV has a customizable interface and has its own Android Market. Also, another interesting function is that besides the numerous applications that Android is offering is VOD – Video on Demand – where you can watch online, on demand, movies and TV series. This service is available only in China, thanks to the partnership between Lenovo and the largest media group in Shanghai.

Once you look inside the LeTv by Lenovo resembles to a tablet, as it is equipped with 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor APQ8060, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, SD slot, WiFi 802.11b/g/n network card, network card 10M/100M Ethernet and HDMI and USB 2.0 connectivity.

Officially Lenovo has not announced anything about the price of this TV but we expect to find more information in the coming months.
